Privacy Policy - Advancify Focus

1. Who we are

Advancify Focus is a desktop productivity application owned and operated by Neuronext Inc.. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Neuronext Inc., which acts as the data controller under applicable data protection laws.

2. What data we collect

• Eye-tracking data. The application uses eye-tracking technology to help analyze your focus and level of eye strain. These data are collected and processed locally on your device; we do not transmit them to our servers or share them with third parties.
• Email address. When you register via Google or Apple, we receive your email address and minimal profile information needed for account creation and communication. We do not sell or disclose this address to other companies.

We do not collect sensitive categories of data such as race, political beliefs, or health information.

2A. Onboarding information

As part of the onboarding experience, we may ask you to voluntarily provide demographic and usage-related information, such as:

• Your age range (e.g., 18-25, 26-40)
• Your occupational field
• Whether you wear glasses
• Your average daily screen time (e.g., 3-5 hours, 6-9 hours)

This data is linked to your email address and is considered personal data under applicable laws. We collect it solely to personalize your experience, better understand user needs, improve product functionality, and perform aggregate analytics. Submission is optional and based on your consent. This information is not shared with third parties and is not used to identify you individually.

3. How we use data

• Functional use. Eye-tracking data are processed locally to provide focus analytics and eye-strain feedback within Advancify Focus. These data are not uploaded to Neuronext Inc. servers.
• Account management. We use your email address to create and manage your account, assist with password recovery, and deliver necessary service notifications.
• Notifications and marketing. With your consent, we may send occasional newsletters or promotional emails. Each email will include a simple opt-out mechanism, and we will stop sending marketing communications if you request it.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for profiling. Data may be disclosed only to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

Our legal bases include:

• Performance of contract. Processing of email and account information is necessary to provide the service you request.
• Legitimate interests. We use your email address to send service notices and occasional marketing communications unless your interests or fundamental rights override ours.
• Consent. We rely on your explicit consent for marketing emails and for collecting optional onboarding information such as age range or occupation; you can withdraw consent at any time.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell data but will honor any such requests.

5. Age restrictions

Advancify Focus is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the application or collect their data.

6. Your rights

• EU and UK residents: Right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, portability, and object to processing.
• California residents: Right to know, delete, opt-out of sale or sharing, and correct inaccurate information.
• Australian residents: Right to access and correct their personal information, and in some cases interact anonymously or under a pseudonym.

You can exercise your rights by contacting privacy@neuronext.ai or, where available, by accessing your account settings. We may require verification of identity before responding to such requests.

Where possible, Australian users may interact with us anonymously or using a pseudonym. However, certain functions (such as subscription or account recovery) may require identification.

7. Transfer and storage of data

• Local processing. Eye-tracking data never leaves your device.
• Email addresses and onboarding data. We store your email address and onboarding information (e.g., age range, profession, screen time) securely using Google Firebase, which provides encrypted cloud infrastructure and complies with industry standards for data security.
• Error and performance monitoring via Sentry. We use Sentry to identify, diagnose, and fix technical issues in our application. Sentry collects anonymised technical data such as device type, operating system information, and error logs. This data helps us improve stability and performance. We do not send any biometric eye-tracking data or any other sensitive personal information to Sentry. Sentry processes data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and applies industry-standard security measures.
• Payments via Stripe. All subscription payments are processed on behalf of our authorised distributor, Advancify Limited, using the Stripe payment platform. Stripe may collect, store, and process your personal information, including payment details, as necessary to complete transactions. Their use of personal data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. Neuronext Inc. does not receive or store your full payment information (e.g., credit card number).
• International transfers. We do not transfer your personal data internationally. Should this change, we will ensure adequate protections are in place.

While we do not transfer your data ourselves, our payment processor, Stripe, may store and process your payment information on servers located outside your country (e.g., in the United States). Stripe adheres to appropriate safeguards, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to ensure adequate protection of personal data.

8. Retention period

We keep your email address and account information only as long as your account is active or as required by law. Eye-tracking data remain on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the application or reset settings. When you close your account or withdraw consent, we delete or anonymize your data unless retention is legally required.

9. Your choices and contacts

The application allows you to manage marketing preferences and other settings. If you have questions or wish to file a complaint, contact privacy@neuronext.ai.

EU and UK users may also contact their national data protection authority. Australian users may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

California users may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency.

10. Policy updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. We will notify you through the application or by email. Continued use of Advancify Focus after changes take effect signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
